Here is a collection of images taken during the nesting season on Skomer Island, Wales in late April 2024. During breeding season, there are approximately 42,500 puffins on the island and due to the lack of predators, these puffins are brave and inquisitive. They have no fear of humans and can wander very close to you. A perfect place for close encounters with these beautiful birds.
